Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Practisphere is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Practisphere is built and operated by Baxter Cobb Shared Services, LLC.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Practisphere aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to reach and maintain full Level AA conformance across all pages.
Accessibility Features
We have built the following features into Practisphere to support a wide range of users:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated using a keyboard, and a "Skip to main content" link is provided on every page.
- Screen reader support: Semantic HTML landmarks, descriptive labels, and ARIA attributes help assistive technologies convey page structure and dynamic updates.
- Visible focus indicators: Focused controls are clearly highlighted so keyboard users can track their position.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios, including in dark mode.
- Responsive, resizable layouts: Content reflows for small screens and remains usable when text is enlarged up to 200%.
- Accessible forms: Every field has an associated label, required fields are marked, and validation errors are announced with an error summary and inline messages.
- Reduced-motion support: Animations respect the operating system "reduce motion" preference.
Known Issues
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to resolve them:
- Some third-party embedded content (such as payment and scheduling widgets) may not yet fully meet our accessibility standards.
- A small number of older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We can provide an accessible alternative on request.
- Complex data tables in administrative views are being progressively updated to improve screen reader navigation.
